After graduating from college Roger Wright began his career in the men’s apparel business. He later branched out into ladies’ wear, department stores, leased departments, multiple store locations, numerous restaurants, recreational facilities, multi-family housing, student housing, strip shopping centers, and mixed-use complexes. During this time he started purchasing, developing, selling, leasing and managing residential and business properties. As a licensed NC Real Estate Broker and licensed NC Mortgage Broker, Roger has continued to do the same things for his clients for over forty years. He has leased over one million square feet of floor space and has sold and developed tens of millions of dollars worth of real estate.
He developed a concept of combining retail with leased vignettes for absentee owners; whereas he handled all of their sales, accounting, inventory, etc. so that the vendor only had to come and display his/her merchandise. He developed the software that operated the concept and expanded it to four locations throughout NC.
Wright Properties of NC, LLC is the operating entity for Roger’s real estate company. He, his wife Rebecca, and his analyst, Linda Messick along with the associate brokers find, analyze, market, sell, develop, and lease commercial property in the High Country and across the state of North Carolina. The company is available for consultation, planning, development, leasing, and sale of residential, commercial, and business properties specializing in student housing, restaurant, retail, and bank foreclosures.
